The Origin of The Mastermind, A Cincinnati Banks Legend

Our founder J. Brandon Knab has always been a longtime Cincinnati Reds fan. In 2015 J. Brandon Knab pulled off the impossible to become the first and only Cincinnati Reds fan to attend all 81 Regular Season Homes Games and all 4 All Star Events. A monumental achievement amongst all of MLB fans Nationwide. J. Brandon Knab was also given the nickname "The Mastermind' by local Banks area employees in recognition of the achievement and the name has still stuck to this day. In recognition of the achievement BK Creation LLC has succesfully been able to create and display both Regular Season and All Star Week albums on the site for all MLB fans to see and appreciate.

J. Brandon Knab remembers one double header Sunday versus the Cubs making up a rain delay. "I almost slept thru the second game. I was up late on Saturday night and thought i could take a nap after Game 1 on that Sunday and almost didnt wake back up to go back in for game 2. Id also say the hardest game of them all to make it through was the weather delayed extra inning late game that Todd Frazier won with a Walk off Grand Slam. The game was versus the Tigers and it ended in the bottom of the 13th into the early morning June hours. I remember seeing maybe 1000 people at most left in attendance at the early am hour that went into the next day. I was sitting in the Scout area behind home plate and remember getting my camera out to take as many pics as possible as Todd round the bases for the walk-off grand slam win. I thought to myself , MAN, im glad i stayed up for this one."

Todd then autographed the picture for me at T-Mobile in Clifton OH and J. Brandon Knab brought him an extra copy for him and his spouse to share. Of course neither him nor myself knew what was coming in the next few weeks with the Home Run Derby! Next to an overtime Bucs/Rams MNF game in the early 2000s , J. Brandon Knab will tell you it was the best sporting event he ever attended.

You'll find "The Mastermind" enjoying his favorite restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House, in Cincinnati on any given Sunday evening at The Banks. The Banks showcases some of Cincinnati's best bars, music, and restaraunts that Cincinnati's night life has to offer. J. Brandon's favorite meal of choice is the stuffed chicken with a side of mashed potatos. He will tell you it is his favorite meal in Cincinnati, especially with an extra side of the lobster tail.

After embarking on several locations within GABP, J. Brandon Knab will also tell you that the corner seat on the 3rd base line next to the ballboy is the best seat in the house.

"There is nothing like watching a grounder get pass the shortstop when their is a runner on 2nd and watching the left fielder charge to the ball and attempt to throw the runner out at home as he rounds 3rd base in full speed. The "live" action and excitement is second to none."

Amongst other Reds athletes J. Brandon Knab had the pleasure of meeting Todd Frazier, Billy Hamilton, and Aroldis Chapman in 2015. The icing on the cake though came during All Star Week where J. Brandon Knab had the opportunity to meet all 8 members of The Big Red Machine and get their autograph on 1 piece.
